What it is
Cabbage (Brassica oleracea capitata) is in the Brassicaceae (Mustard) family. A cool-season classic that stores for weeks and ferments into kraut for months.
How to grow it
It wants full sun, water it even, and give it rich, firm soil. Target a soil pH around 6.0–7.5. Space plants about 18 in apart. Expect roughly 70–100. Cool-season.
